GFI Expands Its UK and Cyprus Operations

Moves Into Larger Offices and Plans Rapid Expansion in Coming Months LONDON -- (MARKET WIRE) -- 13-10-2003 -- GFI, leading developer of content security, anti-spam, messaging and network security software, is expanding its operations in the UK and Cyprus. GFI Software Ltd UK and GFI Software Cyprus Ltd have both transferred to larger offices due to increased business coupled with growth forecasts.

GFI Software Ltd UK

GFI's continued success in the UK has necessitated a move to a new office coupled with a fresh intake of staff to deal with the increased workload. The new premises at St John's Mews in Kingston-Upon-Thames cater for a tripling of staff, in line with GFI business forecasts for the region. Kingston-Upon-Thames is an ideal location for GFI's UK operations as it is just 15 minutes away from central London, 30 minutes away from the Heathrow and Gatwick airports, and a stone's throw away from the motorway network

"Building on our success in this market to date, we foresee sustained double digit growth in the UK," said Simon Peter Azzopardi, managing director of GFI Software Ltd UK. "Our larger workforce will help increase our reach and further extend our market share, while being better able to tend to the needs of our growing customer base."

GFI Software Cyprus Ltd

GFI Cyprus is expanding its administration department and is commencing sales and technical support operations with a view to rapid expansion in the coming months. Plans are also under way to set up a research and development unit in the near future. The office has relocated to Nicosia, the capital of Cyprus, because it is the island's business centre. The brand new office is based at the Engomi Business Centre, which is located in a leading business district, close to the Inter College and Cyprus College. The office allows for expansion up to 40 people and offers additional space for conferences and training sessions. It is equipped with the latest communication, computer and media technologies.

"Cyprus offers a good infrastructure, boasting high-speed Internet and quality telecommunications links, as well as a well-educated English-speaking workforce. Its tax infrastructure is excellent," said Nick Galea, president of GFI.
